The BERBER line is the result of the iconographic-symbolic research of Prof. Terenzio Del Grosso combined with the artistic design skills of the architect Luciano Crosato.

Prof. Terenzio del Grosso, an authority on artistic anthropology, has carried out in-depth studies on the links between artistic-symbolic expression and the psycho-social dimension of communication. These investigations included living among certain Asian tribes in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent and amongst some peoples of north-east Africa.
This found expression in certain publications, amongst which we quote 'Le trame della Grande Dea' and 'Nelle trame di un simbolismo arcaico'.

Symbolic allusion and colour play a fundamental role in the works of Luciano Crosato, where the languages of architecture, graphics and design increasingly blend into a single creation.
He pays great attention to decoration and concentrates his research on chromatic dynamism and the texture of the materials, amongst which glass and ceramic used in innovative ways.
His wealth of experience was a great contribution to the creation of the BERBER collection, where the motifs of the textiles of the Berber tribes are masterly reproduced into ceramic tiles that evoke and retain the original symbolic expression.
