What
is a browser?
The WWW incorporates hypertext, photographs, sound, video, etc. that can
be fully experienced through a graphical browser.
Browsers often include "helper applications" which are actually software programs that are needed to display images, hear sounds or run animation sequences.
These helper applications are automatically invoked by the browser when a user selects
a link to a resource that requires them.
